Liposuction, also called lipo-selection, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that aims to remove excess fat cells from certain parts of the body, from the belly to the buttock, from the arms to the thighs… It is currently the most practiced cosmetic surgery procedure in the world, much more than rhinoplasty or breast augmentation.
Also known as “lipo,” is a fat removal process achieved through plastic surgery. It’s the most common cosmetic surgery in the United States. Patients need to be under anaesthesia during this procedure. You can opt for full-body 360 liposuction or partial for areas like the back, arms, hips, legs, chin etc. Depending on the technique used, the entire procedure can take from one to two hours.

The liposuction operation lasts between 30 minutes and 3 hours, under general or local anesthesia.
